Excalibur Cigars
Introduced in the 1970s, Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur quickly made its mark as a super-premium cigar with an appealing price. To name but one of its many admirers, The Robb Report has recognized Excalibur as one of the world's five greatest cigars.

An extremely well constructed medium to full bodied cigar, Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur is a superb example of Honduran craftsmanship. Lighter in color than a Cuban cigar as a result of its fine Connecticut Shade wrapper, this cedar-aged cigar is made with a rich Honduran blend that is very much in the Cuban tradition.

Like the legendary sword that inspired its name, Excalibur is a superbly balanced work of art.

Excalibur 1066 is truly "The people's choice" cigar. We asked cigar enthusiasts to determine which of two blends should be incorporated into our new cigar, and the blend in the Excalibur 1066 was their choice.

Excalibur 1066 is the first cigar that has ever combined the rich Honduran taste with the richness of a Cameroon wrapper. The blend is a combination of Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. The character of the cigar is further enhanced by a select Broadleaf binder grown in the Connecticut River Valley.

Excalibur 1066 gives the discriminating smoker the very best of two worlds, rich flavor and Connecticut smoothness.

Since their beginnings in the 1970s, Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur cigars have been wrapped in a smooth, light, Connecticut grown, English Claro wrapper which, when wrapped around its robust binder and filler tobaccos, created a perfectly bananced combination of richness and smoothness. Now Excalibur Royal Sterling adds another dimension to this classic blend with a Honduran Claro wrapper. This wrapper tobacco, available only in limited quantities, is grown in Honduras and keeps the traditional smooth Excalibur taste but adds a more robust flavor to the cigar.

Each Excalibur Royal Sterling cigar is crafted by hand with the finest Honduran Claro wrapper tobaccos, these leaves are picked from the lowest primings of the plant to ensure their smooth taste and light color of its English Claro cousin, but with the distinct, robust flavor characteristics of Honduran-grown tobacco. The Excalibur Royal Sterling also boasts a sweet and flavorful Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and Excalibur's traditional, full-flavored Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican filler blend.

Like the legendary sword that inspired its name, Excalibur Royal Sterling is a product of the finest, hand-made craftsmanship and special rare tobaccos for the ultimate in smoking enjoyment.
